Welcome Princess Heather
So just now, strip #1 in the Princess Heather story is out. As I’ve mentioned here and there before, Sir Thane isn’t gone, he’s moved into the Bloomin’ Forums, for members to enjoy. And he won’t be in the form of a 4-panel strip anymore, but rather as a big, single-panel gag. Most of it will have to do with his curse and the consequences of it. I had lunch by myself today. It was at a little retaurant on the corner near where I work. It has great prices, a nice terrasse and some even nicer waitresses (my regular one is Lana), so I go there regularly. And today, as I was finishing my coffee and Lana (God bless her long thighs and the restaurant’s short skirts!) was bringing me my tab, I noticed a hobo not 10 meters away, adjusting his camera and taking a shot of Lana. Farewell Thane?
Friends, this is a sad day… For we are now (temporarily) done with the Tale of Sir Thane. He will continue making an appearance in the Members’ Forums, but his days on the front page are, for the time being, over. The reason, mainly, is that I’m not sure I can maintain a great storyline with a lead male character. Sure, Thane is amusing, but there are only so many dick and banana jokes I can come up with. I think we’d also all enjoy ourselves a LOT more if the victim of a faerie’s curse was a woman. (Though, as a male myself, I DO enjoy the idea of making women irresistibly lusty AND beautiful…) Continue reading “Farewell Thane?”
The Look & Feel of Faeries
There’s a little-known thing about faeries: they don’t weigh anything. Or at least, they don’t weigh much. I don’t think any scientist has ever been able to experiment on one to figure out their real mass, but if I were to venture a guess, I’d say they weigh the same thing as air. Which isn’t very much. This is probably why they don’t NEED wings to just hover in one spot. But at any rate, I’m no scientist, so please don’t try to explain to me the physics of faerie-dom. No More Funcam
Not sure if there’s anything to worry about, but it looks like Meghan has misplaced her cursed camera. I’ve tried questioning (prudently!) Attitude about this, but she just laughs and flutters away.
