I thought ‘nunnery’ did not mean ‘convent’.
It meant ‘brothel’.
Nunnery meant convent, but was slang for a brothel. Partly because noble women who acted (as far as the standards of the day were concerned) like they belonged in one were stuck in the other, and partly because many didn’t actually change their behavior a bit.

Well, it’s a nice, restful scene for those two for a change. Of course it’s about to explode in their faces, but hey, they have the moment.
That is the nunnery that has a faerie in festation remember, people?
Actually, the faerie infestation was in an Aelven tribe, the Aelves of Sorrow Grove. It was only mentioned they “hated sex more than the priests of Cathol.” (See this strip.)

Best as I remember those two haven’t been given a potion, Thane was unfortunate enough to piss off(on) a fairy early on but no potions.
