Becuase Aidan was her fiancee. This is just some random guy. An old guy at that.
Was he her fiancé? I thought he’d just turned her on; once they had sex, her whole attitude conveyed that she didn’t expect to ever have anything more to do with him.

Ostensibly, rape is a sexual assault, but the word “sex” itself has come to describe a concept so broad and vague that any such discussion is pointless without first agreeing on the definition to be used.
I would assume that if an attractive woman tied a man face-down to a bench and proceeded to sodomize him with a hockey stick, he would definitely consider it rape (as would courts of law in most jurisdictions).
Personally, in the context of this comic, I feel that messing up with a person’s mind like that faerie did is worse than a purely physical rape.

What if she ties his wrists and ankles at bedposts and proceeds to just bounce up and down on him until he has an orgasm, despite his protests? I’m not convinced it needs to involve sodomy or hockey sticks to be considered rape.
As a side note, while I condemn all forms of rape in real life, I’m particularly moved by male victims of rape. They have even less resources than their female counterparts and are likely to be mocked by anyone who learns of their tragedy. (“Yeah, big guy like you ‘raped’ by this cute lil’ thing… I bet that must have been SOOOOOO hard… Hey, think you can get her to ‘rape’ me too?”)
As for the context of this comic, it’s not stated whether the faerie acted on Heather’s mind or body. If one were to look at the history of the curses in the strips and the blogs, however, they would find that the curses are physical more often than not.
