Quick Update

Hey all,

Sorry I’ve been silent. We have a pre-Christmas rush at the office, so I’ve been staying at work later than usual. Not much time left for updates. But this morning, it’s a bit slower, so here’s what’s been happening to the people in my life (and myself).

  • Mandy hasn’t moved back in, and probably won’t. We talked about it, and she’s worried that too much faerie influence in her life might cause her to relapse to her older self. She said it came VERY close, during the Trigger Incidents, and she doesn’t want to go back down that road. She’s still living at Antony’s and is looking for a new place of her own.
  • Brooke and Roseanne are officially over. Now it’s all about Brooke and Meghan.
  • Jennifer has a new boyfriend. Which isn’t surprising. Ever since she “busted out” (a nice way to say she got implants), she’s been going through guys like mad. They’re usually hot hunks, with toasters for brains. She’s also going for a more feminine look — I saw her wearing a dress, the other day, and it was really weird for me. She’s not a tomboy-ish little sister anymore, more like a hot sexpot. My brain can’t quite cope with that yet.
  • I received a postcard from Zuri. She’s coming to town during the holidays. BAD NEWS! I’m going on holidays myself right after Christmas (Mexico, BABY!), so there’s a chance we’ll miss each other.
  • Morgan never reappeared. I don’t know where she came from, or where she went after she visited me, “that” time. Probably just as well. I’ve confessed the entire incident to Mandy, though, who was upset by the whole thing. She understood it was the usual faerie mischief, though, so she’s not holding a grudge.

That’s about all the news. Oh, and Minx has been very quiet. She’s been looking a bit nervous, these days, but she says it’s nothing. I hope that’s not the calm before the storm…

Who’s the Boob? That’s Right…

…It’s me!

On Friday, I thought I’d be a funny guy and subject Brooke and Roseanne to Mood Boobs. For those who don’t know, it’s on one of the bunch of DVDs I received last week. It’s the story of this flat-chested girl who, while holding a magic crystal, wishes she had mood boobs: they’d grow bigger when she clapped her hands or got horny; her nipples would get rock hard and pointy when she’d get angry; etc. You get the idea.

Mandy was in on the joke, too. Because it’d only last a day (like the Freaky Friday curse), we both figured there’d be no lasting harm, so why not had a little fun, right? Continue reading “Who’s the Boob? That’s Right…”

Girl For Just One Day

Well, it looks like the DVD Curse lasted only 24 hours, and now both Mandy & I are back to normal.

I’m looking at the other DVDs, and I’m wondering at the possibilities. I know I shouldn’t THINK about this, but I have people coming over tonight… including Brooke & Roseanne. I’m wondering how they’d react to Mood Boobs (which, from the description, sounds rather amusing).

Flirting With Brooke — The Untold Story

Regular readers may recall that I left a story thread untold a little over two months ago, right before the blog went on hiatus. I’d actually forgotten that I still owed you all that story, and it took an email from a reader for me to realize that. So, at last, here’s what happened.

To put things back in context: I was afflicted by a flirting curse from Attitude, and was just recovering from laryngitis. I was on my way to catch a movie when I ran into Brooke and Roseanne coming out of the theater. Continue reading “Flirting With Brooke — The Untold Story”

Brunch with the Girls

Okay, that flirting thing is getting out of control.

This morning, around 10:00, Mandy, Brooke, and “his” girlfriend Roseanne all got together for brunch. Mandy was there first, and I was really happy to see her. She looked really good, wearing a short and slinky black dress and a white jacket. I couldn’t help myself and immediately started hitting on her, complimenting her on how sexy that outfit was. (“Admit it, you’re wearing it just to seduce me, aren’t you?”) She blushed a little bit (how cute!) and started giving me a hard time about how much of a pig I am, but I hit her right back with a couple of well-placed comments on how she’d be disappointed if I DIDN’T at least notice her looks. (I think the bit about her new French manicure really scored me some points.) I said I’d normally ask for her number, but since I already had it, there was no point. And then she said I was right, there was no point, since I wasn’t using it much these days… Continue reading “Brunch with the Girls”

A Little Update

I’ve been pretty silent the few weeks because there just hasn’t been all that much to talk about. The new job is panning out nicely, and the folks I work with (when I’m in the office, twice a week) are very easygoing and laid back. We’re doing children’s books, after all. (And before you go off calling me names because of the Albert thread in the past few weeks, rest assured that my work there is irreproachably pure and chaste.) And my colleagues are fairly conservative (they’re also on average a good ten years older than I am). It’s nice to be working in a totally non-sexual atmosphere…

Here’s what’s going on with the various people in my life: Continue reading “A Little Update”

Pajama Party @ My Place

Last night, we had a great PJ party at my place. Girls only. (I’m not sure where Brooke formally fits in this category, but I prefer to think of him as a ‘she’…)

We were about a dozen girls at one point (not everybody came in at the same time, and some left earlier than others). I think a total of twentysomething girls showed up in all. Why did I throw this party? One of my stripper friends (let’s call her “Candy,” from the “Candy and Mandy Act”) is going through a bad breakup and needed some comforting. So I got on the phone, rallied the troops, and threw her a “we-all-hate-whatshisname” party, complete with whipped cream, Haagen-Dazs, hot chocolate, pillows, stuffed animals, and bunny slippers.
