For the last month or so, I have had several new members complain (rightfully so!) that once they had acquired their subscription, they didn’t get instant access to the forums. After several hours of research, I have discovered the source of the problem.
I use a software called Zingiri Forum to power the forums. After a recent patch, a new bug has emerged which requires the site owner to manually perform an update of the integration every time a new user registers. It’s a simple process (I just need to click “Update”), but there may be a delay between the moment where you register and the time I do it. Now that I’m aware of the issue, I’ll check my mails several times a day and attempt to update it quickly. In the meantime, I apologize profoundly for the inconvenience and beg (nay, I GROVEL) for your forgiveness.
