This morning, I walked into Morgan’s office and handed her my letter of resignation.
I couldn’t take it anymore. There’s really nowhere for me to turn. There’s no HR department to turn to — it’s too small a company — and it’s not like I can complain to anyone about this. I mean, I am who I am, looking the way I do, and then there’s Morgan. Would ANYONE really take anything I say about sexual harassment seriously? You can BET I’d be ridiculed…
And even if there was an HR department, that’s not really the point, is it? Now that this thing has happened with Lana, there’s nothing anyone can do about it. No one can FIX this for me. No one even KNOWS what’s going on. So you know what? Maybe I’m running away, maybe I’m being a chicken, but frak it all! I’m bailing and I’m moving on. I don’t need this job. I don’t need this GRIEF!
And now that I’ve made that decision, I feel strangely relieved and liberated.
Morgan’s reaction, you ask? She squirmed through it all. The more upset I got, the louder I spoke, the more she squirmed. And when I told her she’d ruined one of my best relationships with a girl, when I told her I resented her for it, and that I didn’t want to see her again, EVER… well, I think she actually had a climax or something.

Resigning wont change morgan’s inclinations towards you, you’ll still need to deal with this mate, and also – morgan only seems to be that way infront of you, you arent thinking about the humiliation she must go through when she comes back to her senses and realises everything she’s done.

@Temp It is obvious if he has noticed he thinks she deserves it. In that case I second the notion. Let it be known just because VAWA is active and other such women-only bills doesn’t give them pretensions. Don’t think of the police as a crybaby’s tool, think of them as assistance that is best used as an extra “oomph”, meaning, don’t call them unless you have solid evidence. But if you do, bitches gonna pay..

Well, congrats on putting some distance between you and Morgan I suppose. Not that it’s gonna stop her from stalking you, but at least you won’t have to face her in the office every day. You still need to talk seriously with Attitude about this situation though. Like I said, just because you no longer work for her doesn’t mean Morgan’s going to stop stalking you. In fact, without the inconvenient little boss/employee dynamic standing in her way and making her feel guilty I’m guessing she’s gonna be after your ass all the more. You really NEED to get Morgan off your ass once and for all. Attitude is, like it or not, the only hope you have of making that happen.
