Post-Breakup

I kicked Mandy out after that last incident. I just couldn’t look at her.

After that, it was just Minx and I. And for reasons I didn’t quite understand at the time, Minx was relatively discreet for a few weeks. She’d be gone for many days at a  time and wouldn’t tell me where she’d been when she returned. I knew better than to press the issue.

I’ve spent most of January and February in a pretty somber mood. Minx has tried inflicting a few curses on me, but I’ve been so morose I think it took all the fun out of it for her.

Brooke came to visit a few times, but pretty soon I made it clear I didn’t want to see her, not so long as she looked like “my” Mandy. The old, nice Mandy.

So it’s been pretty quiet at my place, lately. I’m thinking of getting a pet. But not a dog or a cat, that’s too much maintenance. Maybe something exotic, I dunno.

*sigh*

I’m lonely.

  1. Give Brooke some slack though, it seems he was worried about ya. In fact, Brooke seems more worried about you than the fact that you kicked her body out. That has to count for something.

Heck, I got to give Brooke credit, by how you are describing it, it seems Brooke is ujusting well to being stuck in Mandy’s body.

Heck, Brooke was able to have very little incident when she was in her cursed body.Compared to Mandy anyway.

Anyway, try to remember that it’s Brooke inside Mandy’s body, it seems clear that she’s worried and just trying to be a good friend.

  2. Well, if this is how things are for you, then at least you have time to start researching mystic locales. That’s probably not going to make you feel much better, but it’s something, right? Also, you currently seem to be an unappealing target for faerie sex-hexes, which is also nothing to sneer at.

  3. I highly recommend leaving the house at least once a day. Just being around people can sometimes help.

If that doesn’t work, why not try and research ways of getting Brooke’s body turned back into a male? That’d surely put a stinker on Mandy’s plans.

    1. Only until she gets comfortable with the same bloody things, only enjoyed from a slightly different perspective.

  4. Maybe you could tell Brooke to change her like while in Mandy’s body? Different hairstyle and such. Maybe that would help you not think of the “Nice Mandy”?

It seems Brooke is just worried about you and you yourself said you are feeling lonely.

    1. Agreed. Methinks Jaycee is being a bit unfair to one of the few people who know the full extent of his pain and is still willing to associate with him despite the faerie danger inherent in doing so…
