I have asked Jaycee’s computer and iPad, but there are no whispers about her. His phone, however, had something to say. Some time ago, Jaycee had asked a friend in the police to help with finding a certain man. A hobo. He was spotted downtown, but the female officer who tried to apprehend “ran” into a problem. Her belt somehow unbuckled itself and her pants fell down around her knees. I was able to track down several pictures from onlookers. Police officers, it appears, are not very liked; to have one lying down, butt in the air, seems to be a big crowd pleaser.
Jaycee has tried visiting her appartment many times, his phone says. He found it empty for several weeks. Now, it’s for rent. At her old work place, he was told she had resigned (by email) and moved on to another job. They don’t know where she is.
If any device out there has any information on her whereabouts, I am listening.
