Oh man, so if the mirror clone touches her self, it transfer to Marie. If Marie touches the mirror clone, it will most likely go to her too, so if there a lot of same area touching, I wonder if the effects are double.
It suddenly strikes me that the faeries (or the mirror) may not be giving Marie special treatment after all by presenting her time and again with a double she can admire. Given her original unmagicked appearance, she’s probably never learned how to resist Vanity, which is after all one of the Seven Deadlies.
Interesting factural tidbit: when writing with left hand, it comes out mirrored (not perfectly {then again, ‘normal’ writing isn’t that much better}, but still legible, just backwards)
I’m trying to imagine what mirror talk sounds like.
Not a recording backwards as that would be unintelligible.
All the inflections wrong?
The sound of a mimic copying a backwards recording played backwards?
(Sorry I can’t name any examples of what I mean from the movies.)
