Up till now Heather’s entire role in this story has been “Rude Entitled Princess receiving commupence to the point of hapless victim toiling *yet comically failing* to best her fairy tormentor.” We now have what in essence is an active participant. She has no reason to fight against any of this anymore. Hence, no conflict. And with no conflict, there is no story anymore.
