Thought the tall one was younger and prettier in the first page (when Thane first rode past them) but this and last page has her looking slightly older and not-quite-as-attractive

Actually, I’m being facetious. I don’t think any sexual activity between consenting adults can lead “down” (you mean Hell, right?). Prolly because I don’t really believe there’s a hell.
It is also dependent if Thane worships the same God as the nuns. If he is just a Knight it is possible so having sex with worshipers of another faith wouldn’t apply to him. The nuns, if they have a vow of celibacy, then they would be the ones to earn the one way ticket in that case. If Thane did indeed worship their faith, then they all would earn said ticket. But hey worse case, Thane can make some really sexy demonesses (the origin of the Succubus maybe?). In any case its just a comic and Thane is still awesome.

The nuns are not consenting, they are compelled. In effect, their free will is being overridden (think about the implications, this is worse than just physical rape)
