I’m having some difficulty continuing to accept the premise here. The faerie’s “not seeing any magic on” Crystal, which implies she’s not cursed (even in a way that she herself is unaware of).
From what we’ve seen of Crystal, past and present, it’s hard to believe she’s made it to adulthood without *somebody* arranging to have a curse put on her.
