Bloomin’ Faeries! #352

  1. Annnnd here comes the karma

    1. No, Karma is otherwise busy

      1. Didn’t Karma get her rack deflated several strips back?

        1. She did. We’ll get to that (and the repercussions) at some other time. 🙂

          –Jaycee
          “I’m doing it.”

      2. If not ‘Karma’, perhaps ‘the whirlwind’, or ‘the hammer’?

        1. Just glad you didn’t say “here comes the Thunder and the Lightning!”, it was lame in that Rock movie, it was lame in that “Life of Pets” movie, it will always be lame

  2. I wonder what she has planned for Crystal. I mean, she sure had plenty of time to think about it.

    1. Not really… Faeries who are under the charm of a virgin human aren’t being controlled, nor are they sitting “in the back of their head” plotting revenge. They’re charmed. They treat that human as a beloved and trusted BFF. When the charm wears off, however, they know what they’ve done, and then the emotions can run in any direction, depending on the faerie.

TL;DR: it’s not a “mind control” effect, it’s a “Charm Person” (for D&D geeks out there).

      –Jaycee
      “I’m doing it.”

      1. You still owe us the faerie definition of “virgin”

        1. The virginity isn’t the important part. It’s the sexual innocence that matters.

          –Jaycee
          “I’m doing it.”

        2. AH! Okay, because just because Crystal is coming like an entire artillery battalion of cannon doesn’t means she isn’t a virgin any more.

But sexually she isn’t “innocent” any more (could be argued with everything she’s seen she wouldn’t be innocent either, but, meh, close enough). So if that’s the criteria, not simply the odd requirement of not having engaged specifically in actual coitus* before, then that makes sense here.

          * Merriam-Webster definition of ‘coitus’ is “physical union of male and female genitalia accompanied by rhythmic movements”

        3. Merriam-Webster definition of ‘coitus’ is “physical union of male and female genitalia accompanied by rhythmic movements”
For some reason I get the impression that Mrs. Webster’s wasn’t very satisfying (or, for that matter, imaginative).

        4. Technically, you’re assuming she was actually aware of the acts around her, and observant of them, instead of being so in her own world that her mind blocked out anything that basically went past a P.G. level.

        5. More likely, she was concerned with actually being able to sell her stuff and not being censored or, indeed, censured. 😉

        6. So when a fairy says “virgin” she means “sexually innocent”?

        7. Sure, why not? 🙂

          –Jaycee
          “I’m doing it.”

  3. I wonder if Crystal is still immune to fairy magic since she is still a virgin but can’t control the fairies anymore since she had an orgasm and is no longer pure as snow as far as feeling sexual feelings now.

    1. Even if she is still immune to direct gnat-magic, what about indirect gnat-magic? o_O

  4. Wow, that looks _painful_. I derive no schadenfreude from this. <_<

    1. Why not? Most others will

    2. Yeah, that’s *not* the usual ‘I’m enjoying this’ look of someone experiencing an orgasm.

      1. She has no prior experience, no desire to get any and therefore no frame of reference for the flood of sensations she can’t control or stop.

        1. I don’t know that Crystal was meant to be literally asexual. That’s not how I read it.

  5. Annnnnd back to faeries tormenting humans.
    You know: status quo.

It is ironic to me that Heather may have come closest to actually making genuine friends with a faerie. Then again, she once basically said she was starved for genuine affection…

    1. Well, in this particular case, it would be justified

    2. This comic is about faeries tormenting humans.

      –Jaycee
      “I’m doing it.”

      1. Then it was a human oppressing faeries to suit her whims.

Now we’re back to faerie torment – with an edge because Crystal just repeated the crime of the humans who set the little stinkbugs off in the first place: abusing faeries.

        I wonder what comes next…

        1. You don’t seem to be enjoying this comic very much.

          –Jaycee
          “I’m doing it.”

        2. >.> Any chance we get to see what the elf looked like in her eyes? Kinda curious as to what her greatest sexual fantasy is.

        3. I can’t answer that, but I’ll say this: some things lose all power once you show them.

          –Jaycee
          “I’m doing it.”

        4. Zack Tilly

        5. That ranks up there right next to “size doesn’t matter”

        6. Well, i am curious about what happens next.
Enjoyment varies in strength with most stories.

  6. Shit just got real.

  7. The worse thing she could do to her is nothing.

But, that’s not The Farie way.

  8. The Phantom's Belch

I almost pity Crystal for what I suspect Spunky is going to do to her. Almost.

I wouldn’t want to be Crys right about now. Not only does that orgasm actually look painful – the human body is not actually built to bend like that – but with not one but two faeries being released from her control, things look to be going for full-on faevengeance. Busty at least seems kinda-sorta sane, and may still come to Crys’s defense, or at minimum won’t be as mean. (Busty seems quite mellow as far as faeries go, it seems; Attitude couldn’t have a better mentor. Both Spunky and Blond Meanie – whatever happened to the Lurker in the spider-cave? – earlier seem rather spiteful.)

    1. Shame how Attitude grew up to be a spiteful little terror anyway.
As her attempt to tell a joke shows, she doesn’t have a good sense of humour. Just a sense of spite…

    2. whatever happened to the Lurker in the spider-cave?

It was the most amazing thing! A once-in-a-lifetime experience! Truly an eye-opener!

Unfortunately, I cannot delve into the details, because, well, reasons.

So you’ll have to take my word for it.

      1. So that’s how the “blockquote” tag renders…

    3. There’s nothing particularly unnatural about her position, in fact I believe it’s even a standard aerobics exercise position.

      1. Called “The Bridge”, in fact.

  9. I wonder if this is why our fariy friend fell the saddness she does retelling this story

    1. We will know soon enough.

  10. All the chickens are gonna come home to roost, they’re gonna get her real good.

    1. so many chickens it’s going to look like a zelda game when they arrive………..

    2. If the cock doesn’t go for the henhouse, then the henhouse will just have to go to the cock…

  11. Oh dear. That is not the face of someone whose next thought is “I’m outta here!”

    1. It isn’t, is it?

      –Jaycee
      “I’m doing it.”

  12. Good lord! If her nipple get any larger they will poke her eyes out. Especially with an arc like that.

    1. No need to give the fairies ideas. I’m sure they have plenty of their own.

That said… *channeling Gir* I’m gonna sing the Doom song!

  13. Wait, wait, wait.

What do the faeries see when they look at the elf?

    1. Another target? o_O

  14. She’s a screamer. Who knew?!

    1. EVERYBODY within a mile radius knows it now.

  15. Seeing this fairy close up like this made me notice her ears. Wasn’t there a time long ago when the convention was that fairies were depicted with normal ears but had little antennas on their heads (like insects) to show they were not just tiny humans? Or did I dream that? Anyway, it was cuter than those donkey ears that are the convention of today, and I’d like some artist to bring back the antennas, even if I realize it’s too late to make such a change to *this* comic. I’m not complaining, Jaycee, your fairies are pretty in so many other ways, this is just something that occurred to me right now.

    1. I don’t exactly remember when the decision to go with these ears occurred or what was the reason behind it, but I’m personally glad the original artist (RR Pennell) went with that. It gives them a more devilish look, which is more in line with the nature of their relationships with humans. But I know that faeries used to look differently. I suppose I prefer the “Fern Gully” look over the “Bondage Fairies” one…

      –Jaycee
      “I’m doing it.”

      1. Could be fun if they were erogenous.

        1. What. like the Ferengi of Star Trek?

        2. Or the antennae of the aforementioned Bondage Fairies. 🙂

          –Jaycee
          “I’m doing it.”

      2. Ah, Bondage Fairies. I had almost forgotten. Yes, they had antennas, I remember that now. They must have impressed me more than I thought. Thanks for reminding me.

    2. Bondage Fairies had ‘pointy ears’ AND those antennii…

  16. Pointing up an earlier fork in the comments, it’s been said by a number of sexual researchers that a strong orgasm resembles a (pleasurable) epileptic fit. Which matches nicely with what our (formerly) innocent maiden appears to be going through.

WE are accustomed to associating pleasure with orgasms. But as I’ve noted before, if you don’t know what the hell is happening to you, and you don’t have someone (parents, an elder sibling, whatever) to explain it to you… well, pleasure and pain aren’t THAT far away from each other.

    1. And some people choose not to have intimate relationships with anyone, and when your body goes ahead and gives you ‘wet dreams’ anyway, the last thing it is is ‘pleasurable’

  17. I would say that shit is about to get real. Crystal has now earned the enmity of two very powerful and equally pissed off fairies, which cannot end well for her……

… Or it might. Either I can see her involuntarily engaging in some interesting activities with her cousins and the other denizens of the castle.

    1. I was *going* to say “Who’d want a flat-chested asexual like her?”

      Then I remembered exactly who she’d pissed off… 🙂
