I thought that too. Though my recollection is that the dress wasn’t completely illusory, just that in reality it covered very little. Now that Heather is no longer enchanted, one would expect her to see it as it really is.
It’s funny that Patience’s invisible wang is chasing all the women that are resistant to being it’s ‘home’ and not going after the ones who want to be it’s home like Lucky or the Little Horny Nun.
I am probably in the minority here, but I feel that there is a point beyond which larger does not longer equate to more attractive, and Crystal, with her udders, is way past that point.
I certainly agree with that. How she was before Heather showed up was about right for Crystal, I believe, if a bit on the large side. The way they are now is borderline disgusting.
Of course, I’m actually somewhat surprised at Heather. So far, she hasn’t belittled Crys the way she seems to had planned early on, and in fact has helped her, despite her anger and lingering hate, which is sending out the mixed signals that Spunky’s picking up on. That said, we know Heather hasn’t let go of her hate, but I’m picking up a bit of “she’s still family” in there.
Then again, Heather’s been on the receiving end of how many faerie curses so far? A dozen or so, maybe a score? Seems like she’s got some sympathy for what Crys is going through, or at least some understanding.
Maybe when this is all over, once Spunky’s gone back to Faerie Forest, Heather and Crys can work out their differences. (But then, the foreshadowing in the future strips with Autumn and Attitude doesn’t seem indicative of a happy ending….)
