Brooke: The New You (Part I)

It took me a good minute before I was able to come to terms with what (who?) I was looking at. I’d known Attitude to get really nasty (what she did to Mandy, for instance, was pretty bad), but an actual sex change was beyond extreme, even for her. There was no denying that Brooke’s new look was one of pure, unbridled sexuality. I can’t quite bring myself to think of him as a she, so I’m going to keep calling him for the time being. His body was straight out of the pages of Playboy, all hips and legs and breasts and all that stuff that makes me fantasize about women. He was wearing his typical “pick-up artist” outfit, but a sexier, female version of it. Continue reading “Brooke: The New You (Part I)”

A Shocking Visit

I finally caved in to curiosity and SMS’d Brooke back. Told him I’d be home yesterday, and if he REALLY wanted to talk, all he needed to do was to show up. What I DIDN’T say in my text message was that I wouldn’t be alone. I’d be there with Mandy. We’d have a few things to talk about, for sure.

It was around 20:00 when we heard the door bell ring. Figuring I’d be smart or something, I asked Mandy to go answer the door and let him in. My bet was that upon seeing Mandy in my apartment, he’d know that I knew about their relationship, and that would make him sweat some more. Mandy thought it was a bit juvenile of me, but accepted to play along to humor me. So I stayed in the living room, facing outside, staring at the night outside through the window bay doors. The Not-So-New Mandy

It’s now 6:25 AM and Mandy just left. We spent the night up talking. There was a LOT to talk about.

When she showed up last night, I could tell there was something VERY different about her. Beyond the fact she no longer had that killer Playmate body, she also no longer radiated sexuality like before. She was back to the Mandy I knew. The one I really loved, before Attitude had her way with her. Continue reading “The Not-So-New Mandy”

My Crazy Life (Update)

Just a quick update for those of you who’ve been following my crazy life:

  • Morgan hasn’t hit on me in a bit over two weeks, but she’s constantly giving me that “vibe” that it’s going to happen again soon. She stares at me when she thinks I can’t see her, and sometimes, after looking me for a long time, she “excuses” herself and locks herself in her office. I can easily imagine what she’s doing in there.
  • No news from Meghan. Good riddance there. As for Brooke, he still leaves the occasional message, but I keep ignoring them.

Text Messages from Brooke

Brooke has been sending me text messages for the last few days. Hadn’t heard from him in a few weeks, but in the last few days, he’s been calling a lot. I think he may even have left a few voice messages, but I delete anything from his number without even listening to it. What he’s done is unforgivable and I’m not really interested in his excuses.

I *am* curious to find out what he wants with me all of a sudden. All his messages say “Bro, call me back” or “We gotta talk ASAP!”

Not likely to happen, sorry.

Here Comes Meghan!

It’s all Attitude’s fault, I’m sure of it. Of course, the little devil is hiding from me right now, but I have no doubt she’s been messing with Meghan.

Let me start from the beginning. Yesterday, as mentioned, I went to lunch with Megan, equipped with all the poison I could carry in my mind. I was ready to let her have it, both for her thing with Brooke, and for being unable to face me through it all. But the moment I got to the restaurant (nothing fancy, but we had a booth), I could see on her face she was upset. It didn’t matter all that much to me. I took my coldest tone and asked what was up. Tales from Jaycee’s Vacations (Epilogue)

Well, I’m back home and back to work. If you’ve followed the tragic and upsetting tale of Meghan and Brooke’s hookup during the trip, you may wonder what’s happened during the last day before we all returned home. I’ll summarize it here (and keep it short because I’m in no mood to dwell on this topic). Continue reading “Tales from Jaycee’s Vacations (Epilogue)”

Tales from Jaycee’s Vacations (V)

The last two days have been eventful, and not in the most pleasant way, I’m afraid. I’m leaving the resort tomorrow, to return home with several changed relationships.

On Wednesday, there was more diving. Meghan didn’t join us because she wanted to catch some sun rays on the beach, and Brooke was off to visit some mystical Mayan cave a few hours from the resort (a place where there had been some human sacrifices, apparently). So Zuri and I joined half a dozen other divers and went off to check out some new coral reef sites. Continue reading “Tales from Jaycee’s Vacations (V)”

Tales from Jaycee’s Vacations (IV)

There was more diving yesterday, and a whole lot of beach vegging.

Naturally, during the diving, I made a fool of myself. It was all going well until this very long fish started swimming toward us. It was about 3′ long and snaking its way through the waters like… well, like a snake. What was odd about it was that its top was flat instead of pointy, like normal fishes. That should have been my first clue, but my brain wasn’t functioning right. (To be honest, I’d been ogling Zuri’s body and wasn’t paying much attention to anything else.) So when it started coming at me, I tried to put some distance between us. It wouldn’t let me. Continue reading “Tales from Jaycee’s Vacations (IV)”

Tales from Jaycee’s Vacations (III)

Yesterday, we decided to do something a bit different from the usual diving (if you can EVER call diving “usual”) and went to visit some nearby Mayan ruins. Meghan had a bit of an argument over this: there were two sites to visit, one that was smaller and well preserved, the other bigger & more prestigious, but more deteriorated. Meghan wanted to see the smaller one because it would make for better photo shots, whereas I wanted to stand on top of the highest pyramid and look at the surrounding area from there. Brooke and Zuri had no real opinions on the matter, so Zuri is the one who suggested we split up. Brooke offered to go with Meghan, since she could take some great shots of him in front of the ruins He made up some excuse about building up some kind of portfolio for ad agencies, but I think it’s all part of his pickup game. He always says chicks dig adventurous guys, and what’s more adventurous than a shirtless hunk near some ruins in the middle of the jungle?

So Zuri said she’d come with me to the big site, and we’d meet back at the resort at the end of the day. I have to admit, I was a bit worried about being on my own with Zuri. Since her naked night dive with me yesterday, I’ve been wondering if she’s been hitting on me in some way. I’m typically horrible at reading signals, and (believe it or not) being roomies with a faerie that handles your sex life doesn’t help me get any better at it. So I figured I’d play it safe and avoid ALL physical contact all day long. Heck, I’d try to ignore her as much as possible.

To be honest, my plan failed miserably. Zuri just isn’t the kind of person you can ignore. First, she’s absolutely hot, so your eyes have a will of their own (and they’re not the ONLY part of your anatomy that misbehave around her). Second, she’s smart, energetic, and very engaging. As we visited the ruins, she kept touching my elbow and directing my attention to this or that. She’s the one who spotted the small tarantula on the steps of the pyramid, or the scorpion at the top of a wall in some dark recess of an ancient room. She took photos of bats flying all around her. She’s the one who made all these references to architectural principles explaining why Mayan rooms were so narrow (something to do with the angles of the arches they could build). So after the first hour of exploration, I’d abandoned my plan. By mid-afternoon, I was realizing I was getting hugely attracted to her. By the time we returned, I knew I was falling for her, and that was going to be a problem.

So I figured we should have “the conversation.” As we rode in the back on the van, I decided to bring up the topic. I said I’d had a great day, and she was great company, and I wasn’t sure why she’d chosen to come with me, but I was glad. But also, after last night, I wasn’t sure if I was reading things correctly, and didn’t want her to misunderstand the situation. I was with Meghan, she meant a lot to me, and besides, she herself was with Brooke (right?) and he was my bro, so I didn’t want to mess that up either.

She listened to me, a half-smile on her lips. When I was done, she just chuckled and said: “Jaycee, you’re so cute when you’re naive — which is most of the time, I think. You have NOTHING to worry about.”

And that was that.

Anyone knows what THAT meant?
