Sometimes, things don’t quite turn out the way faeries expect them to… π

Hi,
The site has had some severe problems and I’m very sorry for the difficulties you may have had in reaching it. I’ve been able to more or less salvage SOME of the content, but it’s possible the entire backlog of blog entries are gone for good. I’ve been able to put up the current strip but not the old/previous ones. I’m going to try and get them back up ASAP. In the meantime, I apologize for the ugliness and sloppiness of the content. I’ll do my best to fix this ASAP.

Hey all,
On the side, I’ve been working with some very nice fellows (from Montreal, Canada) to organize and publish TWO new webcomics:

The everyday adventures of a videogame heroine trying to make it in a world of puppets. Brought to you by Lucien Soulban (writer) and Ghislain Barbe (artist).

The mundane woes of an evil king dealing with reality, family members, and bad finances. Brought to you by Henbe.
I’m extremely proud to be able to assist in getting those published. Hope you give them a shot and leave them some comments.

Guess who came early this year?
No, not Santa, of course not. It’s Heather, as always. And this year, she’ll be featured in a guest strip/pinup by Navarro/Cabrera (a.k.a. PortalComic), delivered to you on Monday in lieu of the usual Wondollar strip. If you find yourself wondering what led to this naughty situation, you can always become a member. Or, if you don’t want to commit to a regular payment, why not visit the store and purchase the bundle of comics available there? It’s a great value and you only buy what you want.
Best Wishes for the Holiday Season.

Available in tons of styles, sizes and colors at
CafePress.com.
Hey all,
I haven’t been very regular with blog updates since Summer, but there are good reasons for Β this. I’ve been increasing my writing output to see if I could take this thing to the next level. I also wanted to check with Wondollar to see if he could consistently deliver more comics a week. So now, here’s the good news:
Starting January 2013, Bloomin’ Faeries! is going bi-weekly. No, not once every OTHER week, we mean TWICE a week. That means a strip on Monday, as before, and another one on Thursday.
There’s just one caveat: we’re going to test this for 3 months. If the strip bleeds too much money, I may revise this in the other direction. If, however, it shows enough financial viability, we may see about further increasing the strip count. (This also depends on how much more work Wondollar can take.)
The members will also gain some additional benefits, but I’m saving that for another post.

Hi everyone,
The strip is in its third year, now, and has introduced a lot of characters & storylines. I thought it was high time we recapped who’s who, who’s got what curse, and what they’re up to. Wondollar and I have been working on the side to create some Fact Sheets about the main characters (and some side ones that we like). Starting Thursday this week and up to Christmas, we’ll be publishing these fact sheets every week. Be sure to visit and get an additional fix of BloominVerse every week.

EDIT: I’ve decided to put the Fact Sheets on Saturday instead, so more exposure is given to the main strip instead of the Fact Sheets.

Is it just me, or is the opening song of Big Bang Theory discreetly mimicking having sex?
My points:
- “Our whole universe was in a hot dense state…” (that’s how it gets started, baby)
- “Then nearly fourteen million years ago expansion started — wait!” (is the universe having an erection???)
- The rhythm picks up to a pretty good sex beat
- Ends with a nice visual of a white explosion, accompanied by the enthusiastic singing of the word “BANG!!!”
So maybe it’s just me and my dirty mind, but I thought I’d share it with you. What do YOU think?

Long-time readers may remember a time when the site had cleaner, friendlier ads. Almost 2 years ago, I was forced to quit Project Wonderful because Bloomin’ Faeries! was deemed an adult comic (not just NSFW) and was gently escorted out of the system.
Yesterday, however, I got great news: Project Wonderful now officially supports adult comics and content, so I’m now in a position to resume advertising through that network. This means I can (gradually) remove the Juicy Ads (which have not been very lucrative of late) and resume advertising better targeted sites.
Still, if you remain bothered by the ads, you can always become a member and get rid of them. π

Hey all,
Sorry for the long break between updates. I’ve been spending a lot of time lately catching up on script writing for the main strip as well as members-only content. Considering 80% of the monthly revenues for the site comes from memberships, I feel I have to increase the value members get for their money. That means more exclusive content in the members area, and just regular webcomic updates for the non-members.
In case you haven’t read the column to the left (Member News), we have a few more artists that have joined the exclusive comics section:
I’m also working with DeviantArt’s
CallMePo to create a series of strips based on yours truly (they’re not there yet, but I’m just sayin’). It will be a comic-ified version of my misadventures in the early days, when Attitude became part of my life. And for those who are interested in steamier accounts of those days, I’m starting a series of ebooks that are slowly making their appearance in the Members Area.
And last but not least, I also have, now a
“Bloomin’ Reality!” page, where you can learn about the behind-the-scenes reality of creating a webcomic when you’re only a writer without an artist. If I can do it, perhaps so can you. And maybe you’ll learn from my mistakes.
So that’s it for now. And remember, this is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Help a female friend and offer to check her boobs for her.

Hey all,
You probably already know this, but October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And since we’re all fans of breasts here (aren’t we?), I’d like to direct you to the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month website (
NBCAM.org). If you’re a woman, please do yourself (and us!) a favor and consider getting your puppies checked. (If you require male assistance, please leave a message in the comments below and we’ll find you an eager volunteer to help you. π And if you’re a man (or a lesbian, that’s okay too), please consider making a donation to help save boobs.
Because any time the world loses a boob, it becomes poorer for it.
