Another of my favorite blog characters in 2010 was my friend Jennifer. Asian, flat chested and a total gaming nerd, she was Jaycee’s innocent female friend and the occasional target of Attitude’s naughty spells. There was this one time with the BBQ where horny faerie dust had been sprinkled on the hamburgers. Then there was that time when she got magically given huge boobs. (She never knew it was faerie magic, she just thought it was some sudden medical condition.) Though the further story was never revealed, the boobs eventually disappeared (like all faerie magic), but she liked the look so much that she got herself some big ol’ implants.
My original artist (“Jonathan”) illustrated her first, then I had many other artists do her over the years.
See you with more archive art in a couple of weekdays!
This was all stuff I commissioned 15 years ago, so I think it’s about time I make share it publicly. Today’s theme: Mandy. Does anyone remember her? She was a character from my fictitious blog, that crazy and hot ex-girlfriend you all wish you’d had. The backstory was (at the time I was writing the blog) that she’d cheated on me (with my best friend Brooke, a pickup artist) and we’d broken up. She had had a number of misadventures, then returned years later (contemporary to the blog I was writing), looking for atonement—and she’d become a nun. It turns out there was a dark fae messing with her (though that would only become apparent much later), which led to some…malfunctions in her life. She eventually left the convent to become a stripper nun, a schtick that I thought was particularly hot.
A particularly fun curse was her spontaneous orgasms every time she heard the word “amen.”
You’ll notice a number of illustrations by DarkerEve, a now well-known artist in the NSFW community. His art was, at the time, really good and affordable. He’s since become very popular and it became next to impossible to work out more commissions that fit my budget, timeline, and expectations. I remain a HUGE fan of everything he does!
One of pieces above (Mandy just praying) is from an artist who’d rather not be named (because he doesn’t want his art style and real name to be associated with NSFW in real life), but he did MUCH of the early character designs of my blog characters, and remains to this day a big influence on my comic. Let’s just call him “Jonathan.” 🙂
Hope you enjoyed this little trip down memory lane. I’ll try and have more art posts in the future (once or twice a month, maybe?).
