Welcome to Bloomin’ Faeries!

Hi there.

My name’s Jaycee Knight and I’m the (semi-fictitious) author of Bloomin’ Faeries! I’d like to welcome you to the strip.

If this is your first visit to this site–and odds are pretty good that if you landed on this page, it is–I’d like to tell you a bit more about what this website is all about.

Faeries! Faeries Everywhere!

In the world of Bloomin’ Faeries!, magic is real and faeries wield a LOT of it. And because of some terrible slight inflicted by human opon their species a LONG time ago, they’re resentful of us humans. That means if you’re unlucky enough for a faerie to have taken a “liking” to you, your life is probably a miserable one. This is what the strip is all about. When I started it (April 2010), I partnered up with RRPennell, who illustrated the first dozen strips or so. The strip focused on Sir Thane, a rather idiotic knight who offended a faerie by peeing on her. You can follow his early adventures here:

Unfortunately, RRPennell had to bow out of the project, so I kept the strip going with a new artist (Wondollar) and a new (female) main character, Princess Heather. While Sir Thane was a character I really liked, there were fewer story opportunities for him than using, say, a beautiful-but-mean-spirited female character. Thus were born the (B&W) stories of Princess Heather:

Princess Heather proved to be a really fun character to write about and is still, to this day, the #1 victim of the strip’s main faerie.

About Faeries…

There are a few things you should know about faeries:

  • People can’t “see” them. When they do see them, they see them as insects (dragonflies or butterflies). A faerie must choose to reveal her true form to be recognized as such.
  • Faeries love to curse humans with sexually embarrassing spells
  • Faeries don’t tell humans their true name. Knowing a faerie’s true name intimately “binds” her to a human.
  • Faeries do NOT like spiders (their mortal enemies)
  • If a human manages to go 40 days without sex, he or she becomes immune to faerie magic. Better yet, faeries become “charmed” by that human and will do anything he/she asks.

Faeries tend to be very careful around humans and ensure they never get enough peace to enslave them. That doesn’t always work, though…

My Blog

In the beginning, I (Jaycee) maintained a blog about my daily misadventures living with a faerie (her name is Attitude). Attitude (not her real name) loved to mess with any and all aspects of my life. She was later joined by Minx, a much younger (and, IMHO, nicer) faerie. After I saved Minx from a spider attack, she shared her true name with me and I slowly started developing some minor faerie-like abilities.

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I no longer update the blog very much. Most of my spare time is dedicated to creating content for the members area.

Members Area?

That’s right. Since I don’t draw, I have to recruit talented artists to illustrate the strip (guys like RRPennell and Wondollar). That money comes straight from countless paying members. In return for their monthly (or annual) payments, they get a bunch of cool content on a regular basis:

  • Scripts, sketches, and advance previews of the strips
  • Exclusive (and dirty) comics
  • Erotic ebooks
  • Sexy pin-ups

All of this, of course, is always focused on sexual mischief caused by the faeries.

If you’re curious to learn more about the Members Area, check out THIS PAGE.

How Else Can I Support This Site?

I’m glad you asked! Maybe a monthly or annual subscription isn’t for you, perhaps you’re more interested in something a bit more flexible and requiring less of a committment. Maybe these alternatives will suit you more:

  • The Bloomin’ Shop: this online shop lets you select some members-only content and pay per download.
  • Patreon: I’ve also started a Patreon page where you can get some of the exclusive content that members get. You can also choose to purchase some perks not available anywhere else.

I hope you’ll enjoy the strip and stick around. And if you REALLY want to help out (and aren’t afraid of showing to others the kind of stuff you read), let your friends on social media know about this strip. The more the merrier.

  1. I loved the first iteration of B.F. and reread them until I couldn’t find the free version anymore. Now I want to start over again and completely catch up, even if I need to subscribe. The strip is that good.

  2. Hi,

I’d like to reply to a patreon message but it won’t send, and I am unsure of where to find the email address you mentioned. Is there anywhere to find it such that I can sort out what you referred in in the patreon message that I can’t reply to?
