I’d be interested in seeing this reality’s version of the creepy guy who used to peep from behind the curtains. Or the master thief who looked like Betty Page.
Gustav can’t seem to take his eyes off Alberta’s most prominent assets, though it may simply be the height difference. Perhaps we should consider why Sir Thane thinks Alberta would be “welcome company”, having known her for only a few minutes. It can’t be her conversational skills because he already has a talking horse.
I’m glad the comic’s going down this route, personally. Unlike the other commenters who are urging for Alberta to get the Thane treatment, I actually hope she gets what she wants.
Extra-feminizing someone who is clearly a trans man just felt… I dunno, cruel?
I’m glad to read this. I completely understand what these readers are asking for (and why), but I’ve recently decided to focus my writing on stronger storylines and characters with agency. There’s still going to be plenty of T&A in the comic (believe you me!), but it’s also important that these characters feel real and credible, that they try to achieve their dreams or objectives, and not just stand there while faeries pick on them.
I agree. Alberta’s got other things going on and currently seems like she might end up inheriting some variant of Thane’s curse. Maybe she becomes an amazon factory?
