In just the last three weeks, we’ve seen this same faerie go from “it’s only fun when they suffer” to “I’m doing this to teach you to be a better person”.
Actually, I don’t think the fairy did that at all. I think she was constantly cursing Heather because she was a spoiled bitch and was just doing it because it was fun. She wasn’t doing it to make her into a better person. I wonder if this is going to make the fairy grow as a person as well.
It looks like the faerie’s overall size increased. I wonder whether that’s symbolic of anything.
I do agree with the assessment that Heather is a rotten brat, but it’s rather incredible that the faerie did ALL the things that happened in the castle just to force Heather to admit to her negative qualities.
It’s possible the Gnat is simply closer to the ‘camera’ so she just appears to be bigger
No, the Gnat didn’t do it to teach Heather a lesson or admit anything, she did it because she’s a gnat who enjoys doing these things (remember what her future self is doing to that victorian lady?)

No, it’s the same art style and the same artist. Perhaps Wondollar did something slightly different (you know how artists are, always evolving and stuff?), but it’s probably just this strip in particular…

I’m looking forward to seeing where this is going because I’ve been thinking for a bit that the Faeries are bigger bullies than the people they’re cursing.
It’s nice to see the princess actually admitting why she’s been such a bitch to people finally. I wonder if she’ll be a better person in future, not so sure but hey at least some of the royal reserve has broken down.
I’m kind of in the camp with the people debating the fairy’s actual intentions. In my headcanon though (unless this has been addressed and I missed it) since faries tend to be capricious things, she probably has multiple motivations going on for any singular curse she gives.
She might have a semi-altruistic motive for one, just be in it for shenanigans the next time, and the third trying to teach a lesson.
Or, she could just be doing it because she’s bored and makes up explanations for her behavior on the fly, hence why there seems to be issues with consistency.
I guess the fairy’s motives are dependent on the person but I think they do it because it’s fun primarily. With Heather, it’s more malicious because she’s a bitch but with someone like Marie, it’s more to help her out.
Still, I would like to see the fairies have things backfire on them for once.

Okay, not that I read this for the story content ^_^, but I’m glad this is finally being addressed.
The fairies were coming off as just being somewhat evil dicks, instead of using their curses to teach a person a lesson.
Who knows, maybe now that the Princess knows why, she could become a better person?
